# **Rudra Homa**

Rudra is Lord Shiva, the destroyer of evil forces and this homam is dedicated to
the lord who is said to be mightiest of all. According to religious literature,
12 distinguished energies of Lord Shiva merge in Lord Rudra. He can control the
nine planets and thus control time and space. The Rudra Homam cleanses the internal
spiritual system of a person and all deep-rooted turmoil by invoking the grace of
Rudra who is one of the many forms of energies of Lord Shiva. Sri Rudram mantra
is renowned for its healing vibrations. It is chanted to invoke Lord Shiva’s energy,
intelligence and blessings. In Sri Rudram, the cosmic form of Lord Shiva is described.
Rudra Homam & Rudrabhishekam will be performed on Shukra Pradosham day which falls
on a Friday. Therefore, it removes all doshas related to Planet Venus (Shukra) and
puts an end to sins and curses of life.

The time window after the sun sets when Trayodashi tithi falls during the time of
Pradosha Kala, is very auspicious for Lord Shiva prayers. Those who worship Lord
Shiva during this time are freed from the shackles of bondage and attain salvation.
It helps to mitigate various problems, alleviate bad karma that limit one’s potential,
and seek immediate blessings of the lord for overall prosperity. Worship during
this time also helps to mitigate sins of ancestors and your own sins too.

### Why Rudra Homam is important ?

Rudra Homam when performed with devotion and care, can directly pierce through your
deepest energy layers, energise the nadis or nerve points and flush out the negative
forces that influence your health and mental states. People suffering from anxieties,
depression and other mental disorders can perform this homam. It also bails the
devotee out of debt complications by providing effective solutions to financial
problems. The significant aspect of all the Vedic mantras used for traditional rituals
is that their constant repetition invokes the cosmic powers to help those engulfed
by the negative powers. Thus, the greater the number of repetitions of the mantra,
the greater is its effect. According to Vedic scriptures, Lord Krishna is said to
have chanted the Sri Rudram during the war of Kurusheshtra.

Rudra Homam also arouses the three major energies of Lord Rudra – these are Pushtivardhanam,
Thrayambaka and Sugandhi. The first energy rewards with material wealth, the second
instils righteousness, and the third energy fetches spiritual liberation.

### Rudra Homam – Removes Venus Dosha & Deep-Rooted Turmoil, Uplifts Mental Health, Provides Material Wealth, Boosts Financial Status & Fulfills All Desires

Ancient scriptures like Yajur Veda, have glorified Lord Rudra in Vedic hymns called
Sri Rudram. It’s a powerful and effective method to please Lord Shiva. The Sri Rudra
homam cleanses previous birth defects and deep-rooted disorders. The powerful call
of Rudra strikes a balance and order in life by removing trials and tribulations.
It regenerates the environments and blesses with a blissful life. It is also performed
to acquire fame, financial stability, good health, success, bliss, longevity and
